United Nations Global Compact (UNGC)

1. Objective

At Spreenauten GmbH, it is a core concern to contribute to a life on our planet that is as fair and kind as possible. We consider it essential to address the consequences of globalisation – not only, but also in ecological and social terms.

2. United Nations Global Compact (UNGC)

Spreenauten GmbH supports the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and commits to its principles as follows:
 

2.1

Spreenauten GmbH will respect internationally proclaimed human rights and promote their observance within its sphere of influence.

2.2

Spreenauten GmbH will ensure that we never participate in or contribute to human rights violations under any circumstances.
 

2.4

Spreenauten GmbH will respect the rights of its employees to engage in trade union activities and will effectively recognise their right to collective bargaining. In addition, we promote the formation of works councils.
 

2.5

Spreenauten GmbH will eliminate all forms of forced or compulsory labour.
 

2.6

Spreenauten GmbH will work towards the abolition of child labour.
 

2.7

Spreenauten GmbH will eliminate all forms of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation. We actively oppose any kind of discrimination and are committed to this through our Anti-Discrimination Policy.
 

2.8

Spreenauten GmbH takes a precautionary approach to environmental challenges and undertakes initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility. In addition to actively supporting environmental organisations and campaigns, as well as our own reforestation and species protection projects, the preservation of our environment is our highest principle. Our Environmental Protection Policy subjects all our processes to environmental standards, as does our Mission Statement.
 

2.9

Spreenauten GmbH encourages teams to develop and disseminate environmentally friendly technologies. Our current focus in this area is on air-ion batteries.
 

2.10

Spreenauten GmbH resolutely opposes all forms of corruption – this of course includes extortion and bribery. Our stance on anti-corruption, including our whistleblower programme, is outlined in our Anti-Corruption Policy.
